San Marzano tomatoes are the only variety to hold a protected designation of origin (PDO). This designation requires that several production rules are respected. San Marzano tomatoes are thinner and pointier. Their flesh is thicker, with fewer seeds, and their taste is bolder, sweeter and less acidic.

Favuzzi Condiment de vinaigre blanc

Organic Italian grapes of the Trebbiano, Albana and Montuni varieties are crushed. The juice (or must) is immediately strained from the pulp, skin and seeds to avoid oxidation. It is then cooked, becoming cooked white grape must.

Favuzzi Crème de noisettes de Sicile

Rounder and whiter than other varieties, Sicilian hazelnuts are wonderfully flavorful and fragrant. After the harvest, they are processed in Bronte, in the province of Catania at the foot of the famous Etna volcano.
