Artisan Bread Baker (Boulanger/ère)
Position:Full-time
Start Date: Immediate
Wage: Determined by experience and studies
Schedule: 3 am to 11 am, alternating with 4 am to 12 pm
Accommodation: Not provided
Location: Canmore, Alberta
Job duties:
- Scaling, mixing, and baking bread for daily sales and wholesale accounts.
- Bake and fill viennoiseries.
- Prepare ingredients and fillings.
- Seasonal preparation and cooking of savory products such as Tourtière, Quiche, and frozen viennoiseries.
- Operate production machinery.
- Labor-intensive work; heavy lifting and on feet all day.
- Keeping work environment clean; including work environment cleaning duties and dishes.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Skills & Requirements:
- Valid work permit or Permanent Canadian Residency.
- Completion of a Baking Diploma (hours may be used for Red Seal certification); OR 2 years’ experience in Artisan baking.
- Able to lift at least 20kg (50lbs).
- Good health, physical stamina, independence, and efficiency.
- Good communication skills in English. French is an asset, but not a requirement.
- Responsible attitude about maintaining public health and safety standards.
- Able to work and maintain clean spaces.
