Shrimp MarinadeIngredients to boil raw shrimps:
Frozen raw shrimps (peeled or not, optional)
1-2 dry bay leaves
Bunch of fresh parsley
Black peppercorn (whole)
Ingredients for the marinade:
2 small shallots
2 garlic cloves (by taste)
2 tbsp Vezorla Picual Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp Favuzzi Lemon-White Vinegar
Minced fresh parsley
Minced fresh basil
Lemon juice (optional)
- Wash the raw shrimps. Cook them in boiling water with bay leaves, black peppercorn, parsley and salt. It only takes a couple of minutes (3-5) to cook the shrimps. Drain, cool and peel them. You can also use peeled raw shrimps.
- Mince shallots, garlic, parsley and basil. Add the shrimps and mix together.
- Add then 1 tbsp of Vezorla's Picual olive oil and 1 tbsp of Favuzzi's Lemon-White Vinegar. Optional: add the juice of 1 lemon and/or 1 tsp of mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Mix all together.
- Serve after or can it and store in the refrigerator.
